Join the Battle

Right now it feels like there is a war going on in our country. We are battling to keep the faith that Jesus himself gave to us. I really feel like “Fight Song” is a great song to help rally our troops to legally fight to keep our religious liberty and to stand up to the truth. If we simply stand around we will not gain ground in this battle. Join the bishops and other Catholics, Christians, and people of other faith to fight for our rights. Download our song “Fight Song” for free to help get you pumped up.

NCYC 2011

Are you going to NCYC 2011 in Indianapolis? We are… sort of. We don’t have a booth, we won’t be on stage, in fact WE aren’t going to be there… but Paul will. If you see Paul be sure to say hi to him.

In fact here is a list of things you can do if you see Paul:
  • Give Paul a high five
  • Say something like “What up Paul?” or “Yo!”
  • Ask him how he keep his boyish good looks
  • Show him some sweet break dance moves
  • Give him a donut
Here is a list of things not do if you see Paul:
  • Run away screaming (I know it’s tempting but it’s also very disheartening to be the one people are running from)
  • Throw your spider monkey at him
  • Wipe your dirty hands on his shirt (that’s just weird)
  • Make sudden movements
  • Take his donut
If you follow this simple guide your meeting with Paul should go well. Of course these lists are not exhaustive. Please use common sense if you meet Paul.
Lastly, if you are here visiting our site because you met Paul and got one of our fancy promo cards, type in the comments how your meeting with Paul went. (You can even make something up)

40 Days For Life

40 Days For Life is in full swing around the country. Last year we had the opportunity to play music for the midpoint rally and the final hour in the Diocese of Toledo. This is the second time Paul and I have played music for 40 Days for Life. When we were in the Youth Renewal Band we had an opportunity to play for the kick off in SE Michigan.

Well, we are blessed to be involved again in the Diocese of Toledo. We helped kick off 40 Days last week and will be at the midpoint and final hour praising God with music. If you can’t be involved in Toledo find out about 40 Days for Life in your area and pray for an end to abortion.

If you are in the Toledo area check out the dates in our calendar for the midpoint and final hours and come.

Back to Work!

Hey everyone, it has been a while since we have given any updates on what is going on in our ministry. We were on a bit of a hiatus but are back working. Some big news we have is that in May, Paul welcomed his fourth child and first son into his family! Paul is definitely blessed with a wonderful family!

We have been working on some new music which we are very happy with. We feel it will help inspire and draw people into worship and awareness of Christ.

We have also been playing music together every Wednesday for adoration. This is really blessing our lives. We are honored to spend and hour or more each week in front of Jesus in the Eucharist. If you have any prayer intentions you would like us to offer up for you on Wednesdays please email us(band@thejacobswellexperience.com) or tweet us @thejacobswellxp.

As of right now we are booking for the rest of 2011 and into 2012. If you are looking for musicians and speakers for your confirmation retreat, high school/middle school rally, concert, parish mission please get in touch with us. We would love to work together in ministry.

God Bless!
